Registration and refund policies for our classes

We are very happy to sign you up for any of our classes on a first come first served basis.
PLEASE pay in full when registering to guarantee your space in the class and to purchase materials. Your Confirmation will be by phone. or e-mail. As classes fill up, sign-ups who have not yet paid will be dropped from the list to make room for confirmed students. Payments are refundable up to one week prior to class. Note A $15.00 non-refundable fee will be retained for administrative purposes. We will make no refunds after the first day of class.
Please note, Class may be canceled if a minimum number of students ( 6 ) is not met and all money will be refunded.

1-We accept most credit cards by phone.
2- Payments can be made in person by visiting the herb farm.
3- Payment by check mailing your name, address, phone number, and title of class when registering.
-Payments are refundable up to one week prior to class. A $15.00 non-refundable fee will be retained for instructor preparation.

Cooking with herbs Saturday August 7, 2010 Time 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
Do you wonder how to use the fresh herbs from your garden? Do you know how to use those herbal vinegars ? After this workshop you should have no doubt. We will make a lunch using fresh herbs & herbal vinegars and use techniques that make cooking with herbs fun and easy. This is a participative workshop and you will be on a team that does a portion of the cooking. Then we will sit down and enjoy the fruits of our labors and sip herb infused wines We have classes on the following (but are always open to suggestions): An Herbal Feast Spanish tapas with herbs Moroccan cooking A Grazing feast – herbal appetizers Seafood with herbs A Fromage Feast A sample menu from the Herbal Feast class is: Enhanced Chicken Broth, Gingered Carrot Bisque, Herb Bread Provence, Herbed butterMarinated Chicken with Greens (tofu option) Grape fruit Basil Sorbet strawberries with herbed and habanera vinegar.  Making your own salves, ointments and lotions August 14, Saturday time 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM
Learn to make your own topical treatments using natural ingredients, the salves we make are great for fire ant bites and scrapes and we will make lotions and body butters. weaving, in one form or another, has been around since man realized he/she needed to carry things. Baskets are an incredibly versatile item, both in use and in creation. You will learn how to weave using prepared reed. This is the easiest way for beginners to learn. However, once you know the technique, you can weave from a myriad of items.  Beginning Soap Making Saturday September 11, 2010 Time 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
Are you curious about how to make soap for yourself? Or would you like a refresher in basic soap making techniques? In this workshop
we will make 2 different soaps. You will learn how to safely use lye and the different techniques that will generate beautiful effects. The
emphasis is on natural ingredients, including herbs. I have reorganized this course so that it is more “hands on”. You should bring a pair of plastic gloves and eye covering – safety glasses or goggles will work.
