You will learn how to safely use lye and the different techniques that will generate beautiful effects. The emphasis is on natural ingredients, including herbs. We will be using fresh herbs picked from the farm. This is a hands on workshop and you will be doing some of the cooking. Then we will sit down and enjoy dining on the fruits of our labor and sip herbal infused wines. A menu may include gingered carrot bisque, herb bread province, butters Chicken with herb greens (tofu available) grapefruit basil sorbet, herbal vinegars. Bring an apron and an appetite.
